Nica Beef Packers S.A is a livestock services company founded by livestock producers, with over 25 years of experience in slaughtering bovine and porcine livestock and processing meat products.

Our vision is to become the leading and most efficient service provider in Nicaragua’s meat industry. We aim to implement sustainable supply chain strategies that maximize the region’s vast livestock potential, delivering healthy, high-quality, and hygienically processed products to both national and international markets, in line with globally recognized standards.

Food Safety

Nica Beef Packer S.A ‘s policy is to deliver high-quality services and produce healthy, nutritious meat products that meet customer expectations while adhering to recognized national and international standards.

To ensure this, Nica Beef Packer S.A has implemented comprehensive Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across all areas, with standardized cleaning and disinfection procedures in place throughout the entire operation.

As a company, Nica Beef Packer S.A stands by certain business ethics which guide our part to success and the way we handle our clients orders.

Animal Health

At Nica Beef Packer S.A., we adhere to the guidelines and procedures established by SENASAG and the OIE concerning animal health.

As part of the National Epidemiological Surveillance System (SENASAG), we conduct pre- and post-mortem inspections to identify and control potential epidemiological issues during slaughter, ensuring full traceability. This surveillance system serves as a method for tracking and monitoring incidents, complementing product control through routine practical procedures.

Cattle slaughter

In its modern refrigerator, it receives, weighs, classifies and inspects cattle for processing, under official SENASAG regulations. Then, carcasses are selected and classified that will be distributed in different markets in the country.
To develop these activities, Nica Beef Packers S.A has:

  • More than 4000 m2 of industrial infrastructure
  • Corrals with capacity for 800 cattle
  • 12 refrigerated storage chambers with capacity for more than 700 cattle
  • More than 50 people on the work line
  • Benefit capacity of 400 cattle per day

All these processes follow a production criterion with a flow from the dirty area to the clean area, which allows there to be no cross-contamination.

The Bovine Slaughter plant has veterinary doctors and technical inspectors to guarantee the health of the meat that will be distributed in the market.

In addition, there is a quality control area, a food safety space and a permanent monitoring and inspection system to guarantee safety throughout the process.
